Violin, 4/4, Mackay Bros, c. 1920 Manufactured by the JTL (Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy) factory in Mirecourt, France and imported to South Africa by the Mackay Bros and sold in their shops in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Potchefstroom. 
Labeled: 'Mackay Bros. Johannesburg, Pretoria, Potchefstroom, No 891', with the original JTL label still visible underneath. Stradivari model, with top of medium grained spruce and single maple back, lightly flamed 
Varnish: Golden yellow 
Strung with new Jargar Evoke Strings
